Gear Slot

The slots for gear will quickly fill up in the early stages of the game, resulting in the common message «Your Gear Slots Are Full». This message stops Max to select new equipment until the previous items are removed or a larger space has been accumulated. The solution to this issue is the Hogwarts Legacy Merlin Trials which give players more inventory space in exchange for the completion of challenging missions. Since many of these challenges could be overlooked and are scattered around the world, it may take a while to reach the most inventory slots available in the game.

Each player has up to five different types of gear in their five Gear Slots. These must be selected from the Gear Selection menu prior to breaking in. These pickups are useful when your task requires you to go through a frisk, or if you have a weapon with you that could raise suspicion. But, you are only able to hide one item per game at an agency pickup location.

This DLC includes new contracts for security and asset protection to the agency. Talk to the receptionist at the agency and stock up on snacks and armor. Once you have reached the marker be sure to identify a group when you arrive.
